That Whole 9/11 Thing
I see the hole where the World Trade Center used to be. I see the cleanup workers coming into the hospital for their check-ups, hacking, coughing, dying.
What else do I see? A city full of firm-shouldered people, hurrying through their days doing the same thing everyone else here is: just getting along.
